Seriously, I love donuts and this is not the first time my food passion is documented here at Manly Curls. Truthfully and in my eyes: pizza is king, steak is queen and donuts are the hot princesses. Someone, who is also a fan of Manly Curls, got me donuts for Valentine’s Day and I could not pass the opportunity to take a pic of them and post them here for my Curly Hair Man Tales.
I will be blogging more about food in the future (as in, give you guys my awesome healthy food recipes) but for now, I want to document that donuts can also have their place in a healthy and lean-machine lifestyle, just like I previously did with pizza.

I have a question about cutting (my) thick curly hair. I couldn’t found an article related to this question so I just post it in this one.
I have thick curly hair (especially at the back of my scalp) and I am a type III curly head. At the moment my hair reches my shoulder but I want to grow it really long (your lentgh, maybe only a few inches shorter) because I think it would be awesome.
Now the question:
Do I have to cut it in layers? What is the difference? Because my hair is so thick and it tends to dry out very quick my hair does tend to get a bit poofy which I don’t like. I want to be able to touch my hair (just love that feeling) without getting that horrible poofy loop.
So, layers or not?
