Another Spanish El Clasico match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid is coming this Thursday 23rd August 2012 at 22:30 PM CEST time and Rogelio updates our readers on what he has been up to!
Yo guys, how are you all?
I hope the summer is treating you all well. In my case, I am busy travelling up and down between Paris and London and I’m soon heading off again to another destination. To add even more “drama” to my life, I currently have a big project in my hands concerning Manly Curls so keep an eye out as I will be announcing it soon first via our subscribers (you can subscribe free to our Newsletter on the right). If you are into your curly, way, kinky or funky hair stuff for men, you really don’t want to miss this out.
Goes to Paris; first thing he does is take a picture with our Manly Curls t-shirt
So, I’m sitting down here because as the unofficial PR manager of the Spanish El Clasico (I guess I am these days), we have another match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid coming up! Some of our fans have been asking about this upcoming match so I thought I might as well take a break from the stuff I am doing and quickly give you all a synopsis and the date for this new El Clasico match.
I have talked before about what El Clasico means to the culture in Spain after having lived in this country and seeing that even old grannies will hop down to the bar to watch this soccer match; the sport is seriously embedded into Spanish culture. Likewise, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are considered two of the greatest soccer teams in the world, and they certainly have the squad to prove it. Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gerard Pique, Iker Casillas, Xavi Hernandez, Xabi Alonso, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Ramos, David Villa and many more are scheduled to play in tomorrow’s new El Clasico kicking off the 2012/2013 Spanish soccer league. What’s more is that since my last article on the last El Clasico back in April, the Spanish national soccer squad (La Roja) have secured themselves yet another Euro 2012 soccer tournament. Really, you can’t miss this match if you love sports like I do (though I’m the kind of guy who will sit down to watch petite women lifting huge weights and cheer like a groupie, so careful with the analogies!).
Alright, so when is this new El Clasico happening? FC Barcelona will play Real Madrid on the 23rd August 2012 at 22:30 PM CEST time (+2 GMT). So, in other words, they are playing this Thursday at 10:30 in the evening in Barcelona and you can work out your local time in this website.
This El Clasico is part of the Supercopa de España, a 2 game tournament played between the previous season’s champion of the Spanish soccer league and the previous season’s champion of the Spanish Copa del Rey. This El Clasico will kick off the numerous Los Clasicos that we will be able to enjoy throughout the season (a minimum of 3 more). Since this is a 2 game tournament, the second game will be played in Madrid (Santiago Bernabeu stadium) on Wednesday 29th August at 22:30 PM CEST time.
I normally watch my games in Al Jazeera as I have used those guys since my time living in the Middle East though, since the match is watched by about 500 million people, the El Clasico is broadcasted by numerous international channels so check out your country’s own.
That’s it for now fellas. You can follow us on Twitter and Facebook if you want to hear the latest on what we are doing and if you want to be the first to hear about this big project related to our site that I currently have in my hands, then feel free to subscribe to our Newsletter (me no spam your email).
All the best, people.
P.S: I wrote an article on the top El Clasico matches played so far so don’t miss it out if you are into your Los Clasicos!
